Patchway Locality Hub, Bristol

The Locality Hub provides a central base for the range of professionals who work with children and young people in the Patchway locality.  The Hub also houses a new Library, One Stop Shop, Adult Learning Disability Activity Space, Volunteer Centre, and a Changing Places facility organised around a central courtyard.

 

The building incorproates the following low carbon features:
· 30kW Thermal Combined Heat and Power (CHP)
· 48m² of solar PV cells
· Reduced air permeability of 3m³/h/m² @ 50Pa
· Enhanced building fabric
· Daylight linked dimming of artificial lighting
· Semi-intensive Green Roof
· External solar shading
· Integrated automatic natural ventilation.

 

The Hub is on target to achieve a BREEAM 'Very Good rating while providing the Client with a low energy and low maintenance solution to their needs
