  • John Fosters Almshouse for Bristol Charities completed in May 2009 has been highly commended in the Almshouse Association Patrons Awards 2010.
  • The new office building for the Environment Agency at Deanery Road has won a BREAAM award, presented at Ecobuild for the highest rated office building in the UK. We have been novated to the main contractor and the project is currently on site with completion due in late summer 2010.
  • We have just been appointed by Bristol City Council as architects and lead consultant to carry out works at the Grade II* Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery.
  • Two Alec French projects won Bristol Civic Society Environmental Awards this year; the Aardman Animations office building and Quakers Friars, part of the new Cabot Circus development
  • Following on from our feasibility study for South Gloucestershire Council we are currently at RIBA Stage F for the £4.3M refurbishment of Kingswood Civic Centre. Due on site in July 2010.
  • We have been instructed to submit a planning application for a 32 bed residential building at the Kindersley Centre, Lambourn. The target is for the building situation in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to achieve BREEAM Outstanding.
  • The two Children's Locality Hubs for South Gloucestershire Council have now received planning permission and start on site in August 2010.
