Alec French Architects with Westmark Developments was selected in competition by Bristol City Council for the redevelopment of this key inner city site, close to the Council House, the Central Library and Brunel House.

The mixed use proposals contain 78 apartments, including 23 affordable, and office buildings of 8000m² and 2850m², together with a retail unit, car parking and a new public square.

The design recreates a frontage to Deanery Road, with the housing built around a central courtyard and the larger office block around a 6-storey atrium. Planning permission has been granted and work on the scheme is due to start in 2008.
