Redcliffe Wharf, Bristol

This highly sensitive waterfront site was the subject of a competition based on a comprehensive brief to developers provided by the landowner, Bristol City Council. Our successful scheme includes an extensive public realm for leisure use and a covered market, surrounded by new and refurbished historic buildings for office, retail, restaurant and residential use. A replacement boat yard is also provided.
The masterplan opens up access though the Quaker Garden behind the wharf to St Mary Redcliffe. Following extensive public consultation, a planning application was submitted in December 2007.
