This development of 44 apartments in two buildings of 3-5 storeys
is on a site fronting the Floating Harbour and opposite the
SS Great Britain. The design responds to its context of the
adjacent listed buildings, the footprint of the 17th century
limekiln dock and of views through and across the site.
The adjacent 19th century gas works buildings will be refurbished
for leisure uses. The development also completes a missing link
in the public dockside walkway with the restoration of Western
Wharf – an early 20th Century Hennebique structure.
