A 10 year masterplan has won outline planning permission on this highly sensitive site bordering Ashton Court. The masterplan allows for replacement of existing buildings and the insertion of new buildings around a new central court, reorgananizing circulation and the main entrance.

 

The first phase, a new studio building, provides accommodation for reception, administration, exhibition gallery, studios and seminar rooms. Completed in September 2007, the studio building has allowed students and staff to be decanted from the main teaching block, now undergoing refurbishment including replacement of windows and services and due for completion in February 2008.
